How much does a custom model cost?

Why does a custom model cost what it does?
With all of our products being made custom, it takes dozens of man hours per project to produce a set. We also spare no expense when it comes to detail, and have created sets with thousands more pieces than an off the shelf building kit.
What affects the price within a tier?
Size, terrain, and level of detail. Two homes in the same tier can differ in price depending on complexity; a steep roofline, custom landscaping, or intricate trim all factor in.
What's included in the price?
In every commission, we include all of the pieces and instructions to build your house packaged in a custom box. You also get as many changes as you'd like to the design, professional renders, and the design team's commitment to make sure you are 100% happy with your model.
Do you use official LEGO pieces?
Yes! We exclusively use only real, genuine LEGO® bricks. No exceptions.
How does payment work?
For all of our custom products, payment is split into three parts: 30% is due as a deposit to lock in your spot on the schedule, 40% is due after we approve the design with you, and 30% is due at the end of the project. You can also elect to pay up front in full. We take payments via ACH transfer, or credit cards for a 3% fee.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
Nope! We can make anything from 1 set to 10,000, with an overwhelming majority of our customers ordering one off sets. A one off is our bread and butter!
Can I request specific customizations?
Yes! If you have an idea for something that doesn't quite fit into our normal options or add-ons, just let us know. With LEGO® bricks as our medium, the possibilities are truly endless.
Is landscaping included?
Every model includes basic landscaping at no extra cost. A fully custom yard matching your real property is priced separately by square footage.
The Build Process
How long does it take from order to delivery?
3-8 months, depending on size. With build sizes ranging from 2000-17000 pieces, the time can vary widely.
Do you keep a waitlist?
We are always busy building, and if there's currently a waitlist, we'll let you know upfront. If you're working toward a specific date, we recommend starting the conversation early.
Do I need to send photos of my home?
Yes please! We'll take any reference material that you have. Photos, videos, blueprints, anything! If your house is a gift or you can't get photos, we'll help gather reference material.
What software do you use to design?
We use Bricklink Studio, a CAD software that has every LEGO® piece ever made. It also enables us to render houses professionally and create the instructions for your house.
What styles or buildings can you build?
Just about any architectural style... Victorian, Contemporary, Modern, Craft, Tudor, and more. We primarily build homes, but we also take on other buildings regularly.
Shipping & Care
Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely. We'll include it in our quote to you so you know exactly what to expect. International projects are always some of the most fun because each region of the world has different architecture!
How is my set delivered?
All sets will ship in a custom box, with box art meant for gifting. Pieces are bagged by step order, just like any other building kit!
How do I care for my model?
Once your model is built, the hardest thing is keeping it dust free. So give it a bath! LEGO is waterproof, so the easiest way to clean your model is to give it a rinse.
What if a piece is damaged or missing?
If you are missing a piece or it gets damaged during shipping, we will send it at no cost to you! We strive for 100% accuracy, but mistakes do happen. That's why we offer a 100% piece replacement guarantee.

Who builds these?
Every commission is designed under the direct oversight of Henry. All houses are reviewed by at least two professional designers, and QC passed by our manufacturing team by at least three people.
Do you build models of places other than homes?
Yes! We also work with real estate professionals and commercial clients.
